Steve Simpson

Memorial services for Roy Stephen "Steve" Simpson will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Brownfield First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Matt Baird officiating.
Steve was born on April 29, 1943, in Clinton, OK to Roy and Jan (Buckley) Simpson. After graduating from high school Steve was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After serving honorably for two years Steve was discharged with the rank of Specialist. Steve worked in the oilfield most of his life. He was a member of the Brownfield First Baptist Church. Steve was a good father and Papa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jan Simpson, and a brother, Bill Simpson.
Steve is survived by his two daughters, Jill Giddens and husband, Cody of San Angelo, Sheila Simpson of Odessa; two sons, Robert Simpson and wife, Missy of Odessa, David Simpson and wife, Michelle of Virginia; six grandchildren, Kameron Mager, Stephen Rogers, Amber Pack, Britnie Simpson, Hunter Simpson, Danica Simpson; two great-grandchildren, Keagen Brown, Know Brown; sister, Janis Brown of Garland; and good friends, Russ Taylor and wife, Angie, and Ross Taylor.
