Funeral services for Talon Reece Burns will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 6, 2019, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Trevor Gentry officiating.

Viewing will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Talon passed away December 1, 2019, in Roscoe. He was born March 9, 1988, in Lubbock. Talon served in the United States Marine Corps. Talon was a loving father, kind and loving person and a family man. He was a fighter, who fought cancer and beat it. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Melissa Reece Carter, and aunt, Mona V. Carter.

Talon is survived by his wife Kirsten Burns; four children, Brody, Braylee, Jordyn and Aurora; parents, Amber and Donald Proctor; siblings, Evan J. Carter and wife Soluna, Aaron Rodriguez and wife Martha, Justin Rodriguez, Jennifer Thibedeau, Christopher Thibedeau; nieces and nephews, Daniel Carter, Alexander Carter, Josiah Rodriguez, Jeslynn Rodriguez, Jenesis Rodriguez, Brock Hasty, and Laura Carnel; grandparents, Jim and Cherry Carter; in-laws, Tonya Corzine husband, Jerry Corzine; father-in-law, Terry Willman; brothers-in-law, Mark Willman, Trevor Gentry, Austin Willman; and sisters-in-law, Jessica Willman and Torrey Gentry; good friend like a brother, Michael Ribble.
