Terry Elmore

Services for Terry Lynn Elmore, 53, of Brownfield will be at 3pm, Monday, August 12, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Wayne and James Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Terry passed away from this life and went to be with his Heavenly Father, Thursday, August 8, 2013 in a Lubbock Hospital. He was born May 17, 1960 to Demus and Martha Elmore in Brownfield. At the young age of 16 he was in a swimming accident that left him paralyzed. He lived at home with his parents. He had a hard road, but the fighter he was he overcame a lot of obstacles. With God’s help and the love from his mom, dad, sisters, brother and cousins and many other family members he got through the rough times and we were blessed to have him with us for many more years. Terry especially loved being with his family. He especially loved being with his nephews, nieces and great nephew and nieces. He touched everyone’s heart and lives that he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed by many people.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Demus and Martha Elmore of Brownfield; a brother, Danny Elmore and partner Sherry Karr of Brownfield; 5 sisters, Latricia “Cissie” Westberry and husband Leslie of Muldrow, OK, Rosa Brown and husband Kevin of Lubbock, Violet Garcia and husband Ruben of Brownfield, Glenna Elmore and her fiancé Donnie Houston of Brownfield and Susan Elmore Garza and husband Onesimo, Jr. of Brownfield; 8 nephews and 8 nieces and 33 great nephews and nieces.
