Services for Tommie W. Woodard, 91, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Monday, November 17, 2008 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Tommie passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 in Brownfield. He was born December 26, 1916 in Glenrose, Texas to J. J. and Sarah Woodard. He moved to Brownfield in 1923 with his family. He attended Wellman Schools. Tommie was a WWII Army Veteran. He married Julia May Seaton on July 7, 1945 in Brownfield. Tommie was a farmer and rancher in Terry County. He was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Tommie is survived by his wife Julia of Brownfield; 4 children, Jimmy Woodard and his wife Judy of Bedias, Dixie McWilliams and her husband Billy of Lubbock, Paul Woodard of Brownfield and Micky Woodard and his wife Kathy of College Station; 4 grandchildren, Jody Woodard, Timothy McWilliams, Sarah Woodard and Bethany Woodard; 4 great-grandchildren, Wes Woodard, Kyle Woodard, Natalie Frizzell and Katy Frizzell; a brother, Ole Woodard of Ft. Worth.

The family suggests memorials to The Alzheimers Association or charity of ones choice.
