Services for Toyebelle Barton Herring, 94, of Union will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2pm in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Don McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Toyebelle passed away on Saturday December 24, 2011 in Seminole. She was born on September 27, 1917 to Matt and Ruth Barton in Quanah. She graduated from Union High School. She is preceded by her husband J.C. Herring, three sisters, Robbie Hulse, Clover Chambers, Wanda Barton, and a brother, Elvoyd Barton.
Toyebelle is survived by a daughter, Treasure Thaggard; a son , Nick Sullivan; five grandchildren, Ann Marie McGaha, David Martin Sullivan, James Allen Walley, Jack Arnold Walley, Joe Bradley Thaggard; five great grandchildren and a sister Johnnie McCutcheon.
