Services for Valdene Garner Thompson will be held at 4pm on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Seaton officiating.
Valdene Garner Thompson passed Tuesday, July 16th at Breckinridge Hospital in Austin, TX. Her death was the result of injuries sustained from a car crash. Her passing was sudden and she is missed.
Val is survived by her sons, Scott and Burke Thompson, her grand children Montgomery and Abigale and her sister Jan Newton. Val was a loving grandmother, a wealth of knowledge and ardent student of life. She was living in San Angelo where she had worked for the Texas Dept of Transportation. She retired 6 years ago to spend more time with her family and friends. Her passing was untimely and her loved ones know she is with God! We miss you and love you Valdene!
