Services for Velton W. Riley, 82, of Brownfield will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Jim Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Velton passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 in Carlsbad, TX. He was born in January 26, 1925 in Lamesa, TX. to Ellis V. and Mattie Imo Riley. He moved with his family from Ralls to Brownfield in 1942. He is preceded in death by a brother Vaughn in 1936.
Velton is survived by his sisters, Leota Hinson and Freddie Tatum of Brownfield; a brother, J. V. Riley and his wife Louise of Brownfield; several nieces and nephews.
