Veronica was born in Brown-field on June 8, 1952 to Frederico and Maria Morin. She attended Brownfield schools. She married Joe Garcia Sr. on May 4, 1968. Veronica was a dedicated nurse at South Plains Nursing Home for 20 years and a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Veronica is survived by her husband, Joe Garcia Sr. of Brownfield; parents, Frederico and Maria Morin of Brownfield; son, Joe Garcia Jr. and wife Hollie of Shawnee OK; 3 daughters, Leslie Salas and husband Eliseo of Plainview, Lila Garcia of Austin, Lisa Garcia of Brownfield; 6 grandchildren, Sergio Garcia, Diego Garcia, Briana Salas, Eliseo Salas, Tommy Joe and Courtney Garcia; a great grandson, Marcelino Perez IV; 5 sisters and a brother.
