Services for Vicente V. Fabila, Sr, 87, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Rosary will be Thursday from 6-7pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Vicente passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home in Brownfield. He was born December 12, 1925 in Aspermont, Texas to Vincente and Avarista Fabila. He moved to Brownfield in 1942. Vicente married Basilia Vasquez on September 20, 1944 in Lamesa. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Vicente is survived by the love of his life of 68 years, Basilia; his children, Nasario Fabila of Brownfield, Arthur Fabila and wife Julia of Brownfield, Juanita Rivera and husband Jose Luis of Brownfield, Lupe Castro and husband Demetrio of Brownfield, Esmeralda Aleman and husband Armando Vasquez of Brownfield, Vincente Fabila, Jr. and wife Cindy of Austin and Clarissa Fabila and husband J.J. Franco of Brownfield; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Socorro Serbantez of Brownfield.
