Victor B. Vasquez, Sr.

Services for Victor B. Vasquez, Sr., 54, of Brownfield will be 10am, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Victor passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at his home in Brownfield. He was born in Tahoka. He attended Union School and then the University of Roswell. Victor married Anita Fonseca on March 2, 1975 in Brownfield. Victor was a farmer for 19 years. He then was employed with Terry County Sheriff’s Department as a jailer. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law.

Victor is survived by his wife Anita of Brownfield; 3 sons, Victor F. Vasquez, Jr. and wife Adri of San Marcos, Randy F. Vasquez and wife Cindy of Brownfield and Orlando F. Vasquez of Andrews; 12 grandchildren; his parents, Armando S. and Olivia Bravo Vasquez, Sr.; 4 sisters, Maricella Garcia and husband Pete; Sally Castillo and husband Seberiano, Jr., Sylvia Bautista and husband Juan and Hilda Vasquez; 2 brothers, Armando Vasquez, Jr. and Ray Vasquez; mother-in-law, Leocadia G. Fonseca; Simon Robertson.
