Wanda June Gilley

Services for Wanda Gilley will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 19, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Wanda passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Lubbock. She was born October 20, 1927, to Jesse Rufus and Ardy Talitha Hartman. Wanda married Don Gilley on May 1, 1953, in Brownfield. Wanda worked many years for the Hallmark Store in Brownfield. She was a loving mother and homemaker and loved her family very much. Wanda was a very strong, independent woman and had a passionate love for her pets. She was a member of Brownfield Church of God.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Gilley; and oldest son, Dale Eugene Gilley; granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Anderson; mother, Ardy Hartman; and father, Jessie Rufus Hartman.

Wanda is survived by two sons, Rodney Gilley and wife, Dena, of Lubbock; Rick Gilley and wife, Doris, of Mountain View, AR; daughter, Bonnie Feazell, and husband, Jerry, of Lubbock; brother, Hollis Hope Hartman of Staton, OR; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
