Services for William P. Forbes,Jr. of Brownfield will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

W. P. passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 in Brownfield. He was born October 20, 1917 in Red River County, TX to William an Katie Forbes. His family moved to Brownfield in 1917. He attended Pleasant Valley Schools. He married Glenna Louise Smith April 3, 1943 in Denver City. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Glenna of Brownfield; 2 sons, Ronnie Forbes of Brownfield and William Forbes of Harlingen; 5 grandchildren, Leeann, Klint, Michael, Clay and Bridget; 5 great grandchildren;
