Ann Kanady

A memorial service for Ann L. Kanady, 90, of Brownfield will be held at 10am Monday, December 21, 2015 at Church of God of Prophecy with Richard Atzbach and Herbert Atzbach officiating.

Ann was born on March 29, 1925 in Humbolt, Kansas to Chris and Bertha Ronsick. She married Louis Atzbach in Missouri on October 16, 1940 and Dee Kanady in Hobbs, NM on August 15, 1959. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was very enthusiastic about garage sales. Ann loved promoting Jesus; she made thousands of cross stitch canvases with Jesus on them. She often handed them out to local businesses and anyone she met. Ann is preceded in death by her husbands, Louis Atzbach and Dee Kanady; son, Jim Atzbach, daughter, Pat Reynolds, grandson, Terry Scuggs, great granddaughter, Crystal Brown; both parents; 2 brothers and a sister.

Ann is survived by her 3 sons, Herbert Atzbach and wife Linda of Brownfield, Raymond Atzbach and wife Nita of Phoenix, AZ and Richard Atzbach and wife Connie of Stratford, OK; 3 daughters, Wanda Kohn of Phoenix, AZ, Cindy Noller and husband Brian of Phoenix, AZ and Bertha Herrgesell and husband Hank of Twin Falls, ID; 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
