Funeral services for Baldemar Lazos Vasquez, of Plains, will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Ruben Ramirez officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Baldemar passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Denver, Colorado. He was born in San Benito, Texas to Esteban and Eulalia Vasquez. He married Lupe Flores on February 5, 1972 in Plains, Texas. He served in the United States Army. Baldemar was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a hard-working man that always provided for his family. He will be greatly missed. Baldemar is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Eulalia Vasquez, a daughter, Linda Vasquez, and a brother, Ramon Vasquez.

Baldemar is survived by his wife, Lupe Vasquez; three children, Leticia Vasquez, Steve Vasquez, Stephanie Hernandez and husband, Arthur; five grandchildren, Linda Granado, Daniel Granado, Samuel Granado, Darion Hernandez, Gabriela Hernandez; two great grandchildren, Jordan Granado, Kaleb Cruz; one brother, Joe Vasquez; three sisters, Paula Lopez, Juana Urbano, and Ismelda Guajardo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
