Barbara E. Wood

Graveside service for Barbara E. Wood will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. 

Barbara passed away on November 7, 2020, in Brownfield. She was born on December 7, 1940, in Brownfield to Lester and Claudie Snow. Barbara graduated from Brownfield High School. She married Darrell Wood on December 25, 1959, in Brownfield. Barbara was a great wife, companion, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Claudie Snow; daughter, Brenda Johnson; brother, Fred Snow; sister, Sandra Hales. 

Barbara is survived by her husband, Darrell Wood; children, Bobby Wood and wife Serena, and Deborah Wyant and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Melinda Hammons and husband Rich, Renay Williamson and husband Ross, Chad Wyant, Ashley Wyant, Chris Wood, Amber Mauldin and husband Justin, and Marie Johnson; and 6 great-grandchildren.
