Funeral Services for Buck Hales will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Martinez officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

On November 17th of the year 2023, a memorable, humorous, and playfully irascible man experienced the grace that Our Lord Jesus Christ offers to all His children. His sour demeanor, but heart of gold will be remembered by many for many years to come. He was born to Billy Burlen and Rosie Mable Hales on September 10th, 1945 in Coolidge, AZ. He is known to those who knew and loved him simply as "Uncle Buck". He loved his family with all his heart. He didn't have any kids of his own, but he had a niece Priscilla Hales that he loved and raised as his own and 3 grandkids Teagan, Tatum, and Tyler Garcia. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Carl Hales and Tim Hales and sisters: Cherry Elmore, Lena Emery, Judy Hales, and June Hales; and he is survived by his brothers: Billy Hales, Brazle Hales, Clifford Hales, Marty Hales, and Tex Hales and his last remaining sister: Anita Powell. Pallbearers are: Billy Hales, Jr., Brazle Hales, Chris Elmore, Haygen Elmore, Jarvis Hales, Josh Hope, Junior Elmore, Kane Hales. Honorary pallbearers are: Billy Hales, Marty Hales, and Tex Hales.
