Callie Rachele George

Memorial Services for Callie Rachele George will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.

Rachele was born on July 4, 1954, in Lubbock, to Earl and Ruby George. She passed away on December 21, 2023. Rachele dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her loved ones. Her unwavering love and selflessness will forever be remembered by those who knew her.

Rachele was a devoted mother above all else, always ensuring that her daughters, Linda and Amanda, felt loved and supported. She demonstrated her commitment to family by actively participating in every milestone and school activity of their lives. Whether it was attending school plays, sporting events, parent-teacher meetings, or band contests, Rachele's presence was a constant source of comfort and encouragement.

In addition to being a devoted mother, Rachele possessed many talents and pursued various hobbies. She had a knack for cooking and delighted family and friends with her delicious homemade meals. Her culinary skills brought warmth and togetherness to countless gatherings.

When Rachele wasn't in the kitchen, she found joy in her creative pursuits of sewing and crocheting. She dedicated countless hours to crafting beautiful blankets, which she generously gifted to loved ones during the holiday season. These handmade treasures served as a testament to Rachele's creativity, as well as her love for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Ruby George; 2 sisters Diann Hunter and Paula Crabtree; and a brother Robert George.

Rachele is survived by 2 daughters Linda George and Amanda George; a sister Sharon Ray and husband Fred; brother-in-law Darell Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews; and her precious pets Bella, Sox, Snoopy, and Barkley.
