Catherine Cruz

Funeral services for Catherine Cruz will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Marcelino Banda officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Catherine passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Brownfield. She was born on February 12, 1933 to Guadalupe and Guadalupe Rico in Bartlett, Texas. She was a loving mother who did a great job of raising her children. She instilled the love and passion for Christ into her children and grandchildren. Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Guadalupe Rico; husband, Pedro Cruz; and grandson, Jeremy Mendoza Cruz.
Catherine is survived by three sons and their wives, Pablo Cruz (Patsy) of Meadow, Juan Cruz (Carmen) of Denver City, and Armando Cruz of Meadow; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nasaria Rico of Temple, Texas.
