Clara DeLao

Funeral services for Clara DeLao 82, of Brownfield will be held at 10 am Friday, November 22, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Brownfield with Dr. Matt Baird officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery.

There will be a family visitation from 5pm to 7pm Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Clara was born on June 5, 1937 to Jose and Isabel Cabrera in Marlin. Clara married Pedro Delao on April 27, 1956. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Clara was a school teacher in Brownfield for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro, parents, Jose and Isabel Cabrera, daughter, Yolanda Grace, siblings, David Cabrera, Alex Cabrera, Valentina Gomez, Esther Aranda, Aseneth Duncan.

Clara is survived by her son, Juan DeLao and wife Dora, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild, siblings, Belgrabe Cabrera, Louisa Perez, Elidia Santos, Isabel Conterras, Hope Marales, Lucas Cabrera, Francisca Cabrera-Perez.
