Obituary

Funeral services for David Glenn Webb, 75, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Brownfield Funeral Home with Wayne Shelton officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Glenn was born on December 29, 1950 to Judge and Margie Webb. He graduated from Union school and attended South Plains College. He married Lana Emery on June 2, 1972. Glenn lived his years with a generous heart and a gentle sense of humor that was never far from mischief. He loved his family deeply, cherishing them. Being outdoors was Glenn’s way of connecting with the world. He found joy in his garden, coaxing life from the soil, tending blossoms and branches with the same patience and meticulous attention that shaped the rest of his life. Whether under the broad summer sky or amid autumn’s turning leaves, Glenn found peace and purpose in nature’s embrace. He delighted in playing games around the table and even the digital excitement of video games. But perhaps what most set Glenn apart was the way he could fix anything, he was everybody’s handyman. He took pleasure in giving people a hard time, but his gentle teasing was always wrapped in affection and never failed to bring a smile. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Judge and Margie Webb and brothers, Danny Webb and Tracy Webb.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Lana Webb; daughters, Misty Garcia and husband Gilly, and Kristen Webb; granddaughter Haylee Conner and husband James Hayden; grandsons, Gatlin Webb, Chase Garcia and R.J. Garcia and wife Yaheida; great grandsons, Mason Conner and Brooks Conner, Great granddaughter, Paislee Conner; brother, Steve Webb and wife Paula and sister in laws, Susan Webb and Donna Webb; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
