Funeral Service for Eliazar Guerra Jr. will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father John Ohlig officiating. Viewing will be from 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Eliazar was born on February 6, 1961, to Eliazar Guerra Sr. and Santos Guerra in Brownfield, TX. He passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 64.

Eliazar met the love of his life, Elisa, while they were high school sweethearts, beginning a lifelong journey filled with deep affection and unwavering partnership. Together, they created a beautiful family that will carry forward their father’s legacy of love and dedication. Eliazar reveled in the role of a devoted dad and grandfather, nurturing his family with warmth and kindness.

Known for his exceptional work ethic, Eliazar was a reliable provider, always there to lend a hand to those in need. His generous spirit and selflessness made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Eliazar was preceded in death by his parents, Eliazar Guerra Sr. and Santos Guerra; and a brother, Ismael Guerra. He is survived by his wife, Elisa M. Guerra; children, Theresa Guerra and husband Sammy Martinez, Jay Guerra and wife Jessica, and Arthur Guerra and wife Vanessa; grandchildren, Jaden Martinez and wife Brianne Franco, Jayce Guerra, Tristen Martinez and wife Leslie Sigala, Mallory Martinez, Jay Guerra Jr., and Elijah Guerra; great-grandchildren, Jeriah Martinez and Mateo Martinez; brothers, Albert Guerra, Isaac Guerra and wife Valerie, Israel Guerra and wife Cynthia, Freddie Guerra and wife Heather, and Johnny Guerra.
