Eva Medina Martinez

Services for Eva Medina Martinez will be held at 10am Monday, December 22, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will follow at the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will held from 6-8 pm Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Eva passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in The Woodlands. She was born October 16, 1930 in New Braunfels to Martin and Maria Medina. Eva married Domingo Martinez on October 15, 1955 in New Braunfels. She graduated with an Associate's Degree from South Plains College. Eva taught at Oak Grove Elementary and worked in the administration building for 25 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was also a member of the T.E.A. and L.A.C.I.O.

Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Martinez and her parents.

Eva is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Patricia Perez and Herlinda Martinez Nunez: 6 grandchildren, Raul Nunez, Eric Perez, Angel Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez and Andrea Rodriguez; and 11 great-grandchildren.
