Funeral Service for Florence Mae “Flo” Stiffler will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Flo was born on June 2, 1947, to Alvin Vanderford Lary and Bonnie Mae Lary in Brownfield, TX. She passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 78.

Flo spent her early years in Brownfield, a place she held dear throughout her life, even as she ventured to the beautiful states of Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming. To many, she was affectionately known as a "little Texas spitfire," full of life and spirit. Flo’s faith was her guiding light, unwavering in its strength, and she devoted herself to her family, serving as a loving caregiver who always put others before herself. In addition to her family, Flo had a passion for travel, often sharing her adventures and explorations with those around her.

Her hands were never still; whether she was crocheting cherished gifts or lost in the pages of a good book, two hobbies that brought her immense joy, she found ways to express her love creatively. Flo was also a fan of country music and a devoted admirer of all things Betty Boop.

Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Bonnie Lary; husband, Thomas "Red" Stiffler; daughter, Candy Marie Stiffler; son, Alvin "Big Al" Leroy Stiffler; brother, Alvin Vanderford Lary JR; sister, Juanelle Cunningham; niece, Jeanifer Lary; and nephew, Michael Cunningham. She is survived by her sons, Chris Stiffler (Sandra) and Brian Bridges; daughter, Denise Bridges; brothers, Allen Lary and Jimmy Lary (Judy); several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
