Francisca "Frances" Perez

Funeral Service for Francisca “Frances” Perez will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Lupita Trevino and Roman Perez officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, preceding the service on Saturday at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Frances was born on February 14, 1947, to Nestor and Juanita Rios in Alice, TX. She passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 78.

Frances was known for her unwavering strength and her compassionate spirit. A dedicated private caregiver, she devoted her life to caring for others, demonstrating a remarkable blend of firm love and generous kindness. Her laughter and love of humor brought joy to those around her, and her talent for telling jokes was a constant source of delight for her family and friends.A woman of strong faith, Frances found joy in singing in church and celebrating life through mariachi and tejano music. For her, dancing was not just a pastime but a language of her soul, a joyous expression of her vibrant personality.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Perez; her parents, Nestor and Juanita Rios; son, Daniel Garza; brother, Pantaleon Rios; and sister, Aurelia Rios Balboa. She is survived by 3 daughters, Criselda Garza, Marivelle Garza, and Estrella Ortiz (Manuel De La Cruz); 5 granddaughters, Annie, Jessica, Annette, Ellesse, and Jasmine; 3 grandsons, Christopher, Daniel Jr., and Gabrial; and several great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Frances was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing. She will be greatly missed by all.
