Graveside services for Gary Pat Bell, 81, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm at Terry County Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Viewing will be held from 10-1:30pm at Brownfield Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.

Gary was born in Terry County and attended school in Meadow from 1960 to 1963. He was an outstanding athlete in football, basketball and track. Gary was devoted to his wife, Cynthia, and they had 60 years of adventures together. He was also a devout Christian; his faith was the cornerstone of his life. His unwavering belief guided his actions, inspiring him to be a helping hand for those in need, offering comfort and support with a generous heart. His kindness was a beacon, a testament to a life lived with purpose and compassion. Gary’s passion for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. He cherished his role as a grandfather. His eyes would light up with joy as he watched his grandchildren passionately engage in their sports, every moment spent outdoors filled with his quiet encouragement and heartfelt pride. His professional life was defined by commitment and expertise, as he devoted many years to his career with Oxy and Lennox Air Inc. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Britney Bell; parents, Gilbert and Frankie Bell and his in-laws, Joe and Patsy Bartlett.

Gary is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Cynthia Bell, daughter, Tylithia Martin and husband Kevin; son, Brad Bell and wife Paula; grandchildren, Tate Longoria, Taryn Longoria, Kyle Bell and wife Riannon, Kody Bell and wife Callie, Kaitlin Hovater and husband Sam and Koy Bell; great grandchildren, Everett Longoria, Emerson Longoria, Griffin Bell and Graham Bell; brothers, Billy Bell and wife Jeanie, Dan Bell and wife Helen, Ronnie Bell and Joe Bell.
