Genaro Pando

Funeral services for Genaro Pando will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2019, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield with Father Jose Kochuparambil officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a rosary held starting at 6:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 6, 7, and 8, 2019, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Genaro passed away on September 4, 2019, in Lubbock. He was born September 19, 1954, in Delicias, Chihuahua to Cipriano and Juana “Juanita” Pando. He married Bertha on January 18, 1975, in Las Vegas, NV. He was a loving husband, awesome dad, and a great grandpa. Genaro was an awesome brother, uncle and friend. He always put his family first. He is preceded in death by his parents Cipriano and Juana Pando.

Genaro is survived by his wife, Bertha Pando; four children, Genaro Pando Jr. and wife Cynthia, Juan Pando and wife Alicia, Alicia Gomez and husband Miguel, Lorena Portillo and husband Jose; twenty-two grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; five siblings, Manuela Corrales, Alejandro Pando, Rosario Vitolas, Cleotilde Carrasco, and Alonzo Pando.
