Helen Lucille Clanahan

Services for Helen Lucille Clanahan, 74, of Granbury, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, August 11, 2021. at Plains Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Hamilton officiating.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Helen was born on April 28, 1947, to Leon and Nadine Clanahan in Brownfield. She graduated from Plains High School and attended Hardin- Simmons University. She worked for the City of Abilene in Planning and Zoning. Helen enjoyed walking her dog, tending to her flower garden, and was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboy's fan. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Nadine Clanahan and a sister, Nancy Clanahan Thorton.

Helen is survived by her 2 sisters, Mary Clanahan of Grandbury, and Bonnie Earnest and husband Eddie of Lubbock; 2 nephews, Michael Earnest and wife Kellie, and Keith Earnest and wife Stacie; niece, Jennifer Crews and husband David; 7 great nieces and nephews and a great- great niece.
