Ida Pearl Yowell

Funeral services for Ida Pearl Yowell will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a family visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Brownfield Funeral Home.

Ida passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Brownfield. She was born October 3, 1928, to Ollie Walter and Lillie Marie McCaughan in Lubbock. She graduated from Brownfield High School. Ida married D.J. Yowell, Jr. on April 19, 1950, in Roswell, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.J. Yowell; parents, Ollie Walter and Lillie Marie McCaughan; son, Rickie Yowell; and sisters, Audie Lasiter, Betty Nieman, and Merle Ray.

Ida is survived by two daughters, Judy Woodard (Jimmy) of Tahoka and Kim Mikulik (Mike) of San Angelo; daughter-in-law, Carol Yowell of Wilson; eight grandchildren, Jody Woodard (Kathryn), Lora Smith (Shelby), Jayson Yowell (Joanna), Cole Mikulik (Kerri), Britney Riley (Shayne), David Yowell (Renee), Ashley Wankowski (Jason), Megan Mikulik; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
