Isabel Camarillo Anthony

Services for Isabel Camarillo Anthony, 104, of Brownfield, will be held at 10 am on Monday, November 18, 2019, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Jose Kochuparambil officiating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Isabel was born on December 10, 1914, in Atascosa County to Manuel and Guadalupe Camarillo. She married Joe Anthony, Jr. on March 29, 1933, in Jourdanton. Isabel enjoyed her garden, flowers and making all the neighborhood pets her own. She was such a wonderful lady to have known and to be around. She just loved to always smile as soon as she saw you. She loved to sit on her rocking chair and share stories with her family.

Isabel is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Anthony, Jr.; parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Camarillo; 6 children, Pete Anthony, Alfred Anthony, Alvina Herrera, Eddie Anthony, Gilbert Anthony, and Ray Anthony; 8 brothers and a sister.

Isabel is survived by 4 children, Elvira Martinez and husband Louis of Lubbock, Joe Anthony and wife Liz of Brownfield, John Anthony and wife Carmen of Brownfield and Janie Flores of Brownfield; 33 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
