Funeral services for Jacob Friesen Boschman, 69, of Brownfield, will be held at 10:00 am Monday, April 13, 2026, at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Bishop Issac Fehr officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel.

Jacob was a dedicated farmer whose love for the land and livestock was evident in every aspect of his work. His commitment to ensuring his cattle were healthy and well-rounded was a testament to his care and attention. Beyond the farm, he found joy in fishing and cherishing precious moments spent with his loved ones, especially the children and grandchildren. He held a special place in his heart for his wife’s cooking, particularly delighting in Elisabeth's bread and cookies, which he enjoyed immensely.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life.

Jacob was a loving husband to Elisabeth Boschman, a proud father to three sons and two daughters, and a doting grandfather to nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was also blessed with the companionship and support of two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, three sisters, and six brothers.
