Funeral services for Jennifer Nicole Lopez, 34, will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Jiminez officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a prayer service held 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Brownfield Funeral Home.

Jennifer passed away Friday, August 16, 2019, in New Orleans, LA. She was born April 19, 1985, in Brownfield to Tomas and Nancy Garcia. Jennifer married Samuel Lopez on November 6, 2016, in Kenner, LA. Jennifer was a loving, caring, and big-hearted, good person who loved to cook and feed everyone in the neighborhood. She loved her kids more than life -- they were her world. She loved to play bingo and the slots when she had the chance.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father Tomas Garcia, mother Nancy Garcia, brother Luis A Garcia “Mooskie”, brother Thomas Garcia, sister Vanessa Morales, paternal and maternal grandparents.

Jennifer is survived by husband, Samuel Lopez; 5 children, Gabriella Jimenez, Samuel Romero Lopez, Louisa Victoria Lopez, Ricardo Octavio Lopez, Aaron Roberto Lopez; 8 siblings, Alma Salinas and husband Telesforo of Brownfield, Jesse Garcia and wife Maria of Seminole, Mary Jane Garcia of Brownfield, Daniel Garcia and wife Irma of Lubbock, Sammy Garcia and wife Virginia of Lubbock, Amanda Flores and husband Jimmy of Lubbock, Margarita Fuentes and husband Antonio of Brownfield, and John Garcia and wife Gloria of Brownfield.
