Graveside Service for Jewel Maxine Gobert will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brownfield, Texas with Elder Danita Cohen officiating.
 
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
 
Jewel passed away on February 5, 2023, in Duncanville. She was born on August 8, 1930, in Brownfield to John and Emma Fuller. She graduated from Brownfield High School and then a cosmetology school in Dallas. She married Amos Gobert on March 19, 1963, in Dallas. After her retirement she moved back to Brownfield in 2004. Jewel was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
 
Jewel is survived by her sister, Claudia Tucker of Dallas and a brother, John Henry of Denver Colorado.
