Services for Jon Robert Willey will be held at 2 pm Monday, May 19, 2014, at Abundant Harvest Community Church with Pastor Jerald Baldwin officiating and Pastor Chris Seaton assisting.
Jon (Jonny Baby) passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Lubbock. He was born May 8, 1960, to Clarence Richard “Dick” and Janette Higgins Willey in Winters. Jon graduated from Brownfield High School. He was in the antique and collectible business and owned and operated Jon’s Collectables for 15 years. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted, generous and loveable man. He spent many hours volunteering at South Plains Aids Resource Center in Lubbock and was very active in his church, Abundant Harvest Community Church of Brownfield.
Jon is survived by his parents, Dick and Janette Willey of Brownfield; two sisters, Janey Roberts and husband, Jackie, of Brownfield, Susan Robertson of Brownfield; brother, Richard Willey and Johnny Durham of Lubbock; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
