Funeral Service for Jose “Joe” Reynaldo Reyna will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Timotello Miranda officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Brownfield Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm.

Joe was born on December 17, 1955, to Reynaldo and Teodora Reyna in Wharton, TX. He passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 70.

Joe was a proud U.S. Marine whose commitment to service and country was a testament to his character. He married his beloved wife, Erlinda, with whom he shared a deep bond for 40 wonderful years until her passing in 2018. Joe’s love for family knew no bounds; he dedicated his life to nurturing the relationships that brought him immeasurable joy.

A man of many passions, Joe found great happiness in cooking out and sharing delicious meals with his loved ones. His talent for cooking food was rivaled only by his love for traveling, which allowed him to create timeless memories with family and friends alike. Perhaps his greatest joy came from his grandchildren, whose laughter and smiles lit up his life.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda Reyna; son, Reynaldo Reyna; brothers, Juan Gonzales and Jesse Reyna; and parents, Reynaldo and Teodora Reyna. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Reyna; a sister, Mamie Gutierrez; a brother, Rene Reyna; 3 grandchildren, Alexis Hernandez, Christian Reyna, and Anazaya Reyna; and 4 great-grandchildren.
