Karen Sue Brown, 76, of Brownfield, departed this life peacefully on August 24, 2026. Born on April 24, 1950, to Bill and Gracie Brown, Karen's life was a testament to her deep faith and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Karen was a lifelong resident of Brownfield, where she attended local schools and developed strong ties within her community. A dedicated member of the Foursquare Church since the tender age of three, Karen cherished her faith and formed lasting friendships through her church involvement. Her kind spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many, making her a beloved figure among friends and church members.
For many years, Karen worked diligently in the records department at Brownfield Hospital, where she was known for her compassionate nature and tireless commitment to her work. Those who knew her will remember her for her loyalty and kindness-qualities that earned her respect and admiration in all areas of her life.
Karen had a special bond with her beloved cat, (Pretty Girl), and they shared an inseparable companionship. She also participated actively in the Emmaus Walk for many years, offering her support and encouragement to those on their own journeys.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Bill Brown; mother, Gracie Brown; brothers Junior, Jerry Don, and Cecil Brown.
She is survived by multiple nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.
