Memorial Service for Karen Dale Speicher will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.

Karen was born on January 16, 1950, to Warren Dale and Rose Mary Snyder in Brownfield, TX. She passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 74.

Karen graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND, before marrying the love of her life, Ted Speicher, in 1971. They established their home in Brownfield in 1972, where Karen dedicated herself to her career as an Administrative Assistant at McGowan & McGowan in the legal field for nearly 30 years.

Alongside her professional endeavors, Karen was known for her compassionate nature and affection for animals. Together with Ted, she embraced numerous cherished fur babies over the years. Karen had a special place in her heart for children, treating her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, making every birthday and holiday a memorable event.

Karen’s passions included playing bingo, a pastime that brought her joy, and collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia, a testament to her playful spirit. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Dale and Rose Mary Snyder and her husband, Ted Speicher. She is survived by a brother Larry Snyder and wife, Brenda of Brownfield; a sister, Mary Barrier and husband, Jerry of Lubbock; niece, Sabrina Bandy and husband, Heath of Brownfield, niece, Shannen Hunt and husband, Jacob of Saint Jo; nephew, TJ Snyder and wife, Christine of Lufkin; niece, Anne Barrier of Lubbock; nephew, Jason Barrier of Lubbock; numerous loving great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and her beloved fur-baby, Cricket.
