Kristie Dawn McWilliams

Memorial Service for Kristie Dawn McWilliams, 44, of Lubbock, will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Eric Martinez officiating. 

Kristie was born on July 20, 1979, to Larry and Donna Norton in Odessa. She was a beloved mother and animal lover who passed away on December 23, 2023. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering love for her children and her compassionate heart towards animals, particularly her beloved dogs. Kristie's kind and nurturing nature extended beyond her family, as she could never turn away a person or animal that came her way. Alongside her husband Wade, she successfully founded and operated Double T Sod, a flourishing business that they built together, which she eventually ran on her own. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Thomas/McWilliams Memorial Fund at Peoples Bank in Lubbock. 

Kristie is survived by her husband, Wade McWilliams; children, Taylor and husband Cody Thomas, Colby McWilliams and fiancé Carli Russell, Brookelyn McWilliams and Corbin McWilliams; grandson, Miles Thomas and parents, Larry and Donna Norton.
