Lamoine Dyke

Funeral Service for Mary Lamoine Dyke will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Lamoine was born on June 6, 1941, to Walter Craig and Mary Elsie Chenault. She passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 84.

Lamoine was a devoted homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. Her unwavering faith guided her every action, and she took great joy in serving her church and community. Known for her kindness and generosity, Lamoine had an innate ability to make those around her feel valued and cherished.

God and family were the cornerstones of Lamoine’s life. She loved nothing more than gathering with her loved ones, often engaging in lively games that filled their homes with laughter and warmth. Lamoine shared countless memorable adventures camping and traveling with her family, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.

Lamoine was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Dyke; her parents, Walter and Elsie Chenault; 2 brothers, Lloyd and Darvis Chenault; and 2 daughters, Debbie Campbell and Vickie Judd. She is survived by her daughter, Kathie Schlegel and husband, Louis; sister-in-law, Lavern Rutledge; son-in-law, Steve Judd; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
