Leesa Kay Burda

Leesa Kay Burda passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Brownfield. She was born August 25, 1960 in Brownfield to Donald and Dovie (Adams) Burda. Leesa graduated from Brownfield High School. She worked as a housekeeper most of her life. Leesa was a very active member of the Brownfield Church of Christ. She was a ray of light to the children in the Sunday School Classes there. She was also involved with the Heart Moms and Sisters group at church where she helped with the arts and crafts, and did a lot of the decorating. Leesa loved her family and never met a stranger. Leesa is preceded in death by her father, Donald Joseph Burda.

Leesa is survived by her mother, Dovie Burda; sister, Kathy Burda Murray of San Angelo; brother, Jay Burda of McQueeney; niece, Kristan Lara and husband, Fernando of San Angelo; nephew, Shawn Murray and wife, Roanna of San Angelo; and two great nieces, Kimber and MJ Lara both of San Angelo.
