Funeral Services for Leticia Gomez, 53, of Brownfield will be held at 10am Friday, July 3, 2026 at Templo Betel with Santos Gamez officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 on July 2, 2026 at Brownfield Funeral Home. 

Leticia Gomez, born on October 16, 1972, departed this world on June 27, 2026. In her 53 years, Leticia lived a life marked by warmth, faith, and a spirit that truly shone wherever she went. Her presence was impossible to miss. Leticia had the remarkable ability to light up any room she entered, her vibrant energy and natural humor brightening even the darkest of days. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember how she brought joy and laughter with her quick wit and gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and uplifted. Leticia’s professional life was defined by service and compassion. As a Certified Nurse’s Aide, she devoted herself to the care and well-being of others, embodying tenderness, competence, and genuine kindness. Central to Leticia’s life was her faith. She dearly loved the Lord, and worship was not just an act for her but a true reflection of her heart. Leticia was preceded in death by her mother, Natividad Segovia Gutierrez; father, Enrique Gomez; brothers, David Castillo, Manuel Gomez, John Gomez, Frank Gomez, Rudy Gomez and Enrique Gomez, Jr.; sisters, Maria Luisa Miguel, Maria Erlinda Salazar and Lupita Guadalupe Gomez.

Leticia is survived by her daughter, Gabriella Celeste Gomez; siblings, Tina Uriquizu of Brownfield, Olga Martinez of New Caney, Robert Gomez of Odessa, Cynthia Gomez of Katy and Many nieces and nephews.
