Lois was a remarkable soul who wore many hats in her journey through life. First being a loving wife and mother. She was known for her incredible work ethic, which shone brightly as she took on the roles of driving a dump truck and managing The Giant Burger in Shallowater. These were not just jobs to Lois; they were opportunities to connect with people and to support those she loved. Her commitment to her work, particularly at the school, reflected her deep care and instinct to nurture those around her—whether they were students, coworkers, or friends. Family was the heart of everything for Lois. Her eyes sparkled with a special light whenever she spoke about her children and grandchildren. She often said some of her greatest accomplishments were marrying her beloved husband and raising her six children, a source of endless pride and purpose in her life. Her affection extended deeply to her grandchildren, to whom she was especially partial, always ready with a listening ear or a gentle word of advice. Lois was also a woman of simple joys, finding happiness in crocheting, playing games on her phone. She loved to play guitar and sing with family and friends, while losing herself in the comforting strains of gospel and old music. Fishing trips with family to Monument Lake, Colorado, were among her most treasured memories—a time when laughter echoed across the water and stories lingered long into the evening. Sunday lunches after church were sacred, a testament to her love of bringing everyone together. Traveling gave her fresh perspective and widened her world, but no matter where she went, her heart always led her home. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nolan Bullard; daughter, Teresa Hoffestetter parents, Thomas Franklin Tyree and Lela Mae Bagwell Tyree; 3 grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a son in law.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Drenna Furr, Lynn Hall and husband Frank, Sandra Mensch and husband Larry, Connie Shockley and husband Robert; son, Robert (Beau) Bullard and wife Melissa; 37 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and adored by numerous family friends.
