Lois Marie Hook

Graveside Service for Lois Marie Hook, 76, of Brownfield will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Randy Unruh officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Lois was born on April 27, 1949, in Brownfield to James S. and Alva Lee Chancellor. Lois enjoyed a fulfilling career at Walmart, where her warmth and genuine spirit touched the lives of countless customers and colleagues alike. Her commitment to her work and her love for people shone through in every interaction, earning her a special place in the hearts of those she encountered.

Beyond her professional life, Lois was a woman of many passions. She loved people, and this was evident in her interactions throughout her life. Her affectionate demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand made her a beloved figure among friends and family. Lois also had a creative spirit, finding joy in sewing, which allowed her to express her artistic side while also crafting cherished gifts for those she cared about. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Hook; parents, J.S. and Alva Lee Chancellor; and sisters, Mary Railey and Melba Boen.

Lois is survived by her son, Jason Hook and wife LeAnne; grandson, Gideon Hook; sister Sharon Cromer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
