Born November 17, 1934, in Henderson, Texas, to John Leroy Crow and Madolin Irene (Thompson) Crow. Madolyn had an identical twin sister, Gwendolyn Leah (Crow) Gammill. They grew up in oil field communities since their daddy worked for H.L. Hunt. Much of their growing-up years were spent in New London, Texas, where they attended school until they moved to Snyder, where Madolyn graduated from high school as Valedictorian.

Madolyn attended Texas Tech and earned a degree in Mathematics. While at Tech she played in the Red Raider band.

Following graduation, Madolyn moved to Midland to work for Humble Oil Company, a position she held until her marriage to Robert Lee Noble, Jr. (Bob) of Brownfield on June 7, 1957. Together they had two children, Robert Lee Noble, III and Camille Noble.

Madolyn taught for many years in Brownfield, as a Language Arts and Mathematics teacher, then, following raising her family, returned to the classroom as a Mathematics instructor until her retirement.

Bob and Madolyn were active members of First Baptist Church, where for decades she served as a Sunday School leader and many other volunteer positions. She wanted everyone to know and follow Christ.

Madolyn was also active in the community, as a member of the Beta Sigma Phi and Alpha Omega Study Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Terry County Retired Teachers Association, AAUW, Brownfield Art Association, and the Brownfield Historical Society.

A talented artist, seamstress, and needlepoint worker, her legacy of love is cherished by all that knew her.
