Margarita Rocha Loera

Funeral Service for Margarita Rocha Loera will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Templo Betel with Rev. Santos Gamez officiating. Viewing will be held prior to the service, at the church, beginning at 12:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Margarita was born on May 6, 1940, to Juan and Candalaria Rocha in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 85.

Margarita was a woman of remarkable strength and character who dedicated her life to her family. She was a proud homemaker, known for her incredible culinary skills; every meal she crafted in her tiny kitchen was a labor of love that created lasting memories for her loved ones. Sunday gatherings at Grandma's house were a treasured tradition, where her family would come together to enjoy the "magic" of her homemade dishes.

In addition to her cooking, Margarita found joy in knitting blankets, crafting each one with the same love she poured into her family meals. Every stitch was a symbol of her devotion, creating warmth and comfort for those lucky enough to receive her handmade gifts.

A prayerful mother, Margarita’s faith served as a guiding light in her life and the lives of her family. She instilled the values of love and resilience in each of them.

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Candalaria Rocha; her husband, Florencio Loera; 3 brothers, Tony, Juan, and Lupe Rocha; 2 sisters, Jesusa Medina and Felio Rocha; 2 grandchildren, Benny Joe Perez Jr., and Sky Loera; and a great-grandchild, Jayton Madrigal.

She is survived by 3 sons, Jesse Loera, Sergio Loera (Martha), and Daniel Loera (Lorie); 3 daughters, Felita Tankersly (Brent), Lupe Loera, and Alma Cisneros; 19 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
