Funeral Services for Michael Lee Rotenberry will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Brownfield, with Rev. Bruce Cargile officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Michael Lee Rotenberry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on January 15, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Michael was the son of the late Conrad and Mary Rotenberry.

Michael graduated from McClellan High School in Little Rock, where he excelled both academically and socially. He continued his education at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Little Rock, acquiring college credits and expanding his knowledge.

Known for his dedication to community service, Michael was an active member of various organizations. He achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, exemplifying his commitment to leadership and helping others. He was also involved with the Shriners and held the distinguished honor of being a 32nd Degree Mason. Additionally, Michael contributed his time and energy to the local Kiwanis and Optimist Clubs, embracing their missions of making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Throughout his professional life, Michael enjoyed a successful career. He proudly worked at KFC-Taco Bell, ATT Wireless, and Matt Adams Farms, bringing his skills and expertise to each endeavor. However, it was his love and devotion to his family that truly defined him. His wife, Jan, and his children and grandchildren were the focus of his life.

Michael will be remembered for his warm heart, compassion, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, acceptance, and generosity. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Mary Rotenberry; brother, Conrad Paul Rotenberry; son, Michael Lee Rotenberry, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Shenna Rotenberry; and granddaughter, Allisa Grace Rotenberry.

Michael is survived by his wife, Janet Denise Rotenberry; his 3 children, Bradley Ray Rotenberry, Kimberly Michelle Rotenberry, and Stephen Paul Conrad Rotenberry; 3 grandchildren, Caleb Cole Rotenberry, Victoria Bradford, and Brayden Bradford; a sister, Pat Mayfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
