Ramon Dominguez, Jr.

November 26, 1980 — November 27, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ramon Dominguez, Jr. aka Mon or Moncito on November 27, 2021, just a day after his 41st birthday in Waco, TX. He passed surrounded by his loving family who had the blessing of singing Happy Birthday to him. Ramon was born on November 26, 1980, in Brownfield, Texas to Ramon and Martha Dominguez.

Ramon worked for Halliburton Energy Services for 14 years as a Cement Operator. He was excited to return to work after getting to spend 1 & 1/2 years being a stay-at-home Dad. Ramon spent that time creating many beautiful memories with his family; from being the family chef to being the Dad who attended every school function and extracurricular activity that his children had. He also enjoyed woodworking and making anything that his wife asked him to make. Ramon was the planner for family gatherings and enjoyed playing cards, but enjoyed winning more! He also enjoyed giving people a hard time about everything.

Some of his friends and family's fondest memories of him were his sayings: "It's your world, I'm just living in it!" / "Don't thought next time." / "I'm a professional driver, the State of Texas says so." / "Ugh, women drivers!" / "You want discipline or control?" / "You buying we flying."  If we were to name all the things we love about Ramon we would need to publish a book.

Ramon will be missed tremendously by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is preceded in death by grandparents; Natividad and Maria Teresa Dominguez, Hipolito and Micaela Ramirez, and Brother-in-law Ramon Trevino.

He is survived by his wife Jamie, his sons Josiah and Andrew, and daughter Elyana of Brownfield; Parents Ramon and Martha Dominguez of Brownfield; Sisters Maria Trevino, Sandra Munoz and husband Junior of Brownfield; Nieces Rosalinda Herrera and husband Chris of Lubbock, Alyssa Munoz of Brownfield; Nephews Jose Garcia and wife Ashley, Ryan and Dylan Munoz of Brownfield; Great Nieces; Makayla Martinez of Lubbock and Swaizee Garcia of Brownfield; Great Nephews Josiah and Matthew Trevino of Lubbock and many aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends!

There will be a viewing Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 12 pm to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, directed by Pastors Sara and Paul Hernandez of Victory Worship Center on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 2 pm.
