Randy Rip Rogers

A memorial gathering for Randy Rip Rogers of Austin will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Randy passed away December 29, 2018 in Littlefield. He was born May 22, 1957 in Lamesa to Lawrence "Sonny" and Wanda Belle Rogers. Randy graduated from Brownfield High School in 1975. He then immediately went to work for Southwestern Bell where he worked for 33 years. He then went to work for the Capital Area Council of Governments where he helped design the 911 system. Randy was a caring, thoughtful and giving man who took care of everyone he could. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Wanda Rogers.
Randy is survived by his life partner, Donnie Bennett of Austin; 3 siblings, Teddy Rogers Mooney of Austin, Rodney Rogers and wife, Myra of Farmington, NM, Terry Deeon Rogers of Sudan; 7 nieces; 1 nephew; 12 great nieces and nephews; and numerous other people that loved and adored him.
