Robert Earl Mayfield

Memorial services for Robert “Bob” Earl Mayfield, 70, of Brownfield will be held 10am Friday, November 16, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Don McWhorter officiating and Rev. Steve Carter assisting.

Bob was born July 19, 1942 in Wheeler County to Opal and Eunice Mayfield. He married Linda Putman on September 19, 1964. Bob served in the Army National Guard for 28 ½ years. He worked as a community service/employment specialist for 13 years for Ray D Anderson CRTC. Bob is preceded by his parents, Opal and Eunice Mayfield, and a sister Barbara Dean Johnson.

Bob is survived by his wife Linda Mayfield of Brownfield; 4 children, Rodney Earl Mayfield and fiancée Gail Turner of Lubbock, Rebecca Elaine Vasquez and husband Gustavo of Ada, OK, Randal Edward Mayfield and wife Lacy of Petersburg, RaeChelle Elise Mayfield and husband Ricky Scott of Brownfield; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Don Mayfield and wife Jean of Sebring, FL, William Mayfield and wife Marleta of Lubbock; and a number of nieces and nephews.
