Roland “Scott” Tomlinson, of Brownfield, passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 44. He was born on June 25, 1981, to Frank Roland Tomlinson and Clara Jo Still Tomlinson in Orlando, FL.

Raised in the spirit of service, Scott proudly served in the US Navy, exemplifying courage and commitment throughout his military career. After his service, he dedicated his life to his family and career, working most recently for Beat The Heat Shading Systems in Lubbock, Texas. His professional endeavors were not merely jobs; they were opportunities for him to support and uplift those around him. 

Scott married the love of his life, Tracy, on November 21, 2005, in a ceremony that marked the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Together, they created a nurturing home in Cathlamet, WA, where they raised their family. As an active father, Scott loved spending time with his children, fostering their growth, and sharing countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Roland and Clara Jo Tomlinson, and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Tomlinson; children, Danny, Kasey, and Emery Tomlinson; sisters, Angie Kay, Angie Lee, and Crissy; brothers, Billy, Mitch, Johnny, and Charles; mother-in-law, Sherry; brothers-in-law, Terry and Jeff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Scott will be held at a later date in Skamokawa, WA. Cremation services are entrusted to the care of Brownfield Funeral Home.
