Rudy is survived by his stepmom Benita Garcia of Wichita Falls, Tx; wife, Monica; daughter, Krissy Silva & Husband Jimmy; son, Rudy Garcia, Jr & wife, Erika; son, Elijah Garcia; stepdaughter, Zoe Trevino and Stepson, Marco Hernandez. 7 grandchildren: Alexis Silva, Zariya Silva, Nevaeh Silva, Jordan Garcia, Yeshua Garcia, Ellie Garcia, and Elianna Garcia. 2 great-grandchildren: Sophiya Castro & Luca Castro all of Brownfield, TX, and 6 brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Tomas Garcia III & Eloy Garcia.

Rudy graduated from Brownfield High School in 1979. He was a cross country star, ran at State competitions and numerous other places including Pikes Peak in Colorado. Rudy began welding in 1980 and owned his business, Garcia's Welding. He was passionate about his work and always put his faith into everything he did.

Rudy will be remembered as a loving Father, Grandpa, Husband, Brother, Son & friend. He was a Family Man and loved cooking out. He loved spending time with his children & grandchildren. He loved to buy his son Elijah happy meals & collect all the toys for him. He was a good dancer, only his wife knew because he always claimed he "couldn't dance." He was well known by many, he never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, no matter the situation. He was also a very strong man of his faith. He had a smile that was absolutely contagious, it was hard to not smile back at him. He will be deeply missed, but for now, it's not goodbye, just a see you later. We know that every time the sun shines bright that he is welding up in Heaven.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
